5 life-time advices that we all can take from Rachel Green's journey
Rachel Green (played by the beautiful Jennifer Aniston) walked herself to the top and became an iconic figure for the 90's ladies and a crush for the 90's men.
Rachel had a whole hairstyle dedicated for her and it's called "The Rachel Green Hairstyle".
5 | it's okay to back off from the life you're in if it's not suiting you
People figure that out when they are so old and late but here's the thing: starting over is always okay. Rachel Green in the very first episode abandoned her so-called future husband and just ran away. Imagine Rachel without Ross? or even worse, imagine Rachel living a whole life that she doesn't even want. Apply the same situation on you and figure it out for yourself. Do you really want to live a life that isn't yours? do you want to have friends that don't belong to you? do you want to have a partner that isn't suiting your thoughts and lifestyle?
4 | Not having a plan is normal
Rachel always seemed like the person who never intended to have a plan or never knew how to make one in the first place. As seasons rolled and as Friends' characters had their own lives sorted out (kinda), Rachel was the only one without progress. She searched for her passion after that and found it. She worked in the fashion industry and succeeded. She never imagined that she will succeed ever in her life but despite all the odds, she did. She didn't have a plan, but she succeeded.
3 | Being in the comfort zone is not okay (mostly)
Rachel worked as a waitress at first and she whined about it in almost every episode. She never liked what she had for a living but she still stayed in it. She needed the money to live, she needed to feel accomplished even if it meant to work in a place you don't stand (as a worker, since she liked the cafe after that). There's nothing wrong with being a waiter/waitress. It's a good job if you like it.
The point is: you can be in a place or a job you don't like as long as you're thriving to find another one, a better one in your favor.

2 | You gotta know your limits
Rachel was rich before she joined the Friends gang. She used to spend a lot of money from her father's income. She then moved to a place where she had to count on herself and work to accomplish that. She struggled at first but then she knew that her spending has limits. Her money is not lasting for a whole enternity. She bacame a very reasonable woman at spending money.
One more thing and that's more important: know your work limits. One episode and when she worked in the fashion industry as a seller, Rachel helped a very old lady to dress her underwear, the lady didn't even buy it. Rachel knew her limits and said, "I’m quitting, I just helped an 81-year-old woman put on a thong and she didn’t even buy it!"

1 | If it's meant to be, it's meant to be
As a FRIENDS fan, you already know the “offs” and “ons” in Ross's and Rachel's relationship. That even became a seasonal thing in the show. Still, they ended up together. They had hard times to figure it out but they knew, they belong to each other.
