Weddings
Weddings kept their classy style but changed in the way they happen. Meaning that more fun is being there in today's weddings. Meanwhile, 100 years ago weddings more of a "serious and strict" thing.
Daily inventions
There's no doubt that what we have in today's world is great. It's even healthier to be alive in 2019 than in 1909.
Shopping
We have everything we need today. We have a wide range of foods and products to shop for and that would've been impossible to be in 1909.
Ironing clothes
You'd take half an hour to do your clothes back in the day but now things are way easier.
Fashion
Fashion seems to be the same but it just gets recycled. What you see in today's world might be re-used as a brand new idea in 30 years from now. What you see now was once considered old or left out 20 years ago. That's how fashion works. It keeps coming in and going away.
Children's recreational time
Back in the day, going out of the house was a reward for the kids who studied or worked hard. Now, things are way different. You get rewarded some recreational time by just being in your room, holding a device, chatting or doing anything that is so related to technology. Relatively, there's nothing wrong with that. It's just being attached to something is wrong in such a story.
Traffic
Well, the photo above says it all. Traffic was always a big deal, but surely it grew up as time passes by.
Cars
As my own opinion, I find traditional cars way classier. On the other hand, modern cars get things done perfectly and more efficient.

Bowling clubs then and now are almost the same.

A big difference can be told in that photo. Showers in 2019 are much cleaner.
Selfies
Technically. selfies were not categorized as "selfies" in 1909. We didn't even have from cameras then. But it seems like the selfie was a need and so it became. Sometimes, a friend can't sacrifice his/her soul and lose the chance to be in a group of friends photo and that's why selfies exist.
Phone calls
Calls were harder in 1909. Were rarer as well.
Washing machines
Washing machines were used more often back in the day since they needed more time to get clothes done.
Planes
Today's planes are our best invention to brag about. They're big, reliable on, and get us to places quickly.
